Campaign

Open Day for Hackney Homes to consult with its 26,000 tenants about the delivery of services and a range of other housing issues.

Objective

To encourage tenants to attend the Open Day which historically had been poorly supported.

Methodology

Outbound text (SMS) to 7,200 mobile phone numbers prior to Open Day.

History

2007 campaign to attract tenants using traditional methods resulted in less than 100 tenants attending.

3Gmm Results

Over 1200 tenants attended the Open Day which was considered to be a outstanding result and this method of communication will be an ongoing feature of Hackney Homes communication strategy.
